Grabowski’s Used and New Records Please read!: Be sure to always check out the, “About This Item,” section before completing your purchase! Hello! To prevent mixups from occurring within my listings, some listings may not have photos of the actual vinyl or inlay itself. If you wish to see any more photos or have any questions at all feel free to message me at any time! As well, most vinyl records are only visually inspected and not played. If you wish to have me play a specific vinyl record feel free to message me. As well, please allow 1-3 business days for orders to be shipped out. Thank you so much for checking out my small business and please come again! My grading scale is as follows: Mint (M) A M record is absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. Near Mint (NM or M-) A NM or M- record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. The sleeve has no more than the most minor defects, such as any sign of slight handling. The inlay has no creases, folds, seam splits, cut out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc. Excellent (E) An E record is similar to a VG+ record. But most E rated records have been in and out of their sleeve only a few times. There are minute signs of use and generally reflect very high quality care. Very Good Plus (VG+) A VG+ record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one’s listening experiences. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Inlays will have some slight wear, slightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. The sleeve may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation, or cut corner. Very Good (VG) A VG record will have surface noise evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches, (deep enough to feel with a fingernail,) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers, (or their residue,) attached. The same will be true of sleeves. Good Plus (G+) A G+ record can be played through with minimal skipping. It will have surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. The sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable with minimal skipping, noticeable surface noise and, “ticks,” will almost certainly accompany the playback. Good (G) A G record starts to have slightly significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label may be worn. There might also be some writing or other obvious damage. A G sleeve has very heavy ring wear and/or seam splits, and might show lots of writing. Fair (F) A F record may be cracked, warped, or won't play through without skipping or repeating. The sleeve may be water damaged, split on all three seams, and/or heavily marred by wear and writing. The inlay may be fully split, crinkled, and written upon. Warn (W) A W record rating reflects a vinyl of horrible condition. Records with these ratings often have major noise issues. They skip, repeat, and reveal scratching noises almost always. If you purchase a record with a W rating, expect badly warped material. Frequently, these records are cracked and/or have deep scratches. As well, the sleeves are either badly damaged or destroyed completely. The inlay may be completely shredded or there may be no inlay at all.
